Reub's journey

Five days of cookies

Celebrating the season means baking cookies:

Sunday, December 19: Lemon Honey Cut-out Cookies
This was a new recipe for me, from a cookbook that is 50 years old.

They seem to be improving as they sit.

 Monday, December 20: Thumbprint Cookies

Filled with raspberry jelly, they are an old family favorite.

Tuesday, December 21: Cranberry White Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies. These are sooo great.

Wednesday, December 22: Almond Butter Toffee. Oh, stop me.

Thursday, December 23: Rosettes. My daughter Jessica made these.

They're not my fault, at least not as much as all of the others.

  1. All yummy cookies, I can't decide which one I want to try first!
I live in a multiracial/religion country, we are exposed to different culture and festivals from a very young age. To live harmoniously we must learn to respect each other religions and keep religion out of friendship. My immediate neighbour are a Chinese Taoist and Indian Christian and we are on good term for years.

  2. Cute...I like the way you did this. So Christmassy too. My daughter does all the baking of cookies here. She is the resident expert. We just enjoy them.

    Merry Christmas to you!

  3. I would post photos of my cookies, but I immediately wrapped them to take to my daughter's house so that I do not eat them!!
