I really like black and white photos and wouldn't mind having this assignment every month. This is a great theme for the winter months in the northern hemisphere, because much of our world appears in shades of black, white, and gray at this time: I didn't even have to convert my photos to black and white.
There is a little shopping mall in town, built in the 1970's I suppose, that has undergone major renovations in the past year. One of the new places to open up is a small shop called Yogurt Extreme, and I thought it was nice of them to set up chairs and tables outdoors.
However they could re-name their place "Optimism Extreme" because seriously, who will sit out in the pouring rain all winter long? The classy chairs and tables are dripping with rain water.
On the other hand, the rain drops on the glass table tops are really interesting and beautiful. And I still have months of rainy weather to enjoy them, lucky me!
You do exceptionally well with B&W. I am not as much a fan as I tend to shoot busy photos and those do not lend themselves to B&W.
ReplyDeleteI like raindrops too and I also really love black and white. I wouldn't mind doing this theme all the time either.
ReplyDeleteAmazing that a black and white photo can be as beautiful as these!
ReplyDeleteYES, like the water on glass, great shots.

ReplyDeleteOf course you know I LOVE these pictures, and yes about monochromatic winter, yep.
ReplyDeleteGreat capture of the water drops, I'm a fan of black and whites also.
ReplyDeleteYou are aright mostly black and white and them a nasty born. The photos are great.
