Friday My Town Shoot-Out: F

The idea of the My Town Shoot Out is to post photos of your community every Friday, and hopefully improve your photography skills. If you would like to see examples of this week's theme from other parts of the world, go here.

F is for February, and it turns out, quite a few other things as well!

Frost on teasel



Ferns under snow. We usually have to drive about an hour to get to the nearest snow; it's just too mild in the Willamette valley.




Frozen footprint




Fungus on the firewood, not a good thing.



Fir trees are everywhere.



Foggy days are common right now.




Fishing lures




Fries with mussels, a local delicacy. I love fries! Love them.

    The fries look yummy, but I'm not a fan of mussels. The snow shots just give me the shivers. Keep yourself warm.

    Great F-ing photos! ;-) I loved them all and you are quite creative. That fishing lure was perfect as I thought it was going to be something like halibut eyes at the seafood store! I cannot quite get my mind around mussels AND fries together, although I do like them separately.

    French fries are right up there on my list too - that and popcorn which helps not at all for F.

    We have beautiful mussels, I don't eat them very much now.

    The moss on the timber, doesn't it emit poisonous gas? These same yellow moss grow on our volcanic rock.s
