Horse haiku

The thirsty pinto
thought twice about accepting
offers of water.

The 3rd and final haiku challenge from Suze, at Subliminal Coffee, is the verb "quench."

    1. Mr Ed! They should bring him back. We need more talking horses in our lives.

Almost a haiku, just missing a few syllables:) (Haiku=5-7-5 syllables)

No one knows a talking horse.

      I am Mister Ed.

(Gotta say, he was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw that picture, too!) :-)

  15. All I know about pintos is that Little Joe road one. Sometimes, I read Westerns, and I never know what they're talking about when they use a name for a horse. As for your pinto, maybe he's paranoid due to his former career in the CIA.

    1. Little Joe's pinto was a beauty. There's quite a bit of horse vocab, isn't there? Strawberry roans, bays, and chestnuts, sorrels, palominos, blazes, and socks.

Haha! You never know who's working for the CIA! And actually I should clarify that he isn't my horse, but belongs to a friend. I just visit.
