Have one

The unassailable topic of today's post is...

 ...the penguin.

I bet you didn't know that penguins are edible.

 Go ahead, have one.

They're irresistible.

  2. Cute little penguins!
What is it? Olive, carrot, cream cheese?

    1. Yes! But I wasn't the one to make them. I understand they took a long time to make & the cream cheese had to be wiped off of the olives. No messy penguins.

  3. ...I could never make these -- I would eat the black olives too fast

    1. We scarfed these down in a flash. I could never make them either. They were copied from a Pinterest photo, which is code for "If you try this you will have a hilarious mess on your hands."

  4. Awesome. I couldn't resist, so thank you. :) Black olives are a huge weakness of mine.

  5. i love these so much. i don't know that i could get past anika with the olives though; they're usually gone before i've had a chance to think about eating them. maybe if they were transformed into penguins their lives would be a little longer...i'm certain that penguins have MUCH to say...

    1. Aren't they? Just 2 olives, a bit of cream cheese, and a carrot coin. How hard could it be?

  8. If I had seen these before I went to my daughter's for Thanksgiving you can bet my granddaugher and I would have made a few of these. How very clever.

    1. Granny I think they're good for any time, at least any winter occasion. You can make them in January!

  9. Oh these are adorable. I am not a fan of olives so I'm sure I could make them faster than they'd disappear but reading your remarks, it's not as easy as it looks. Great crafts rarely are. Gotta love creative people.

    1. Not a fan of olives? They're good for you! But maybe not with cream cheese.

  11. They are cute penguins and so realistic. The slim sticks piercing the penguins through & through and emerging from the scalp gives me an eerie feeling :)

    1. Oh! Let us know how easy/hard it actually is, OK????

I loved meeting Reya. We felt as though we were already old friends. She knows me better than most people I live near.
