The Oak

The Oak

Alfred Tennyson

Live thy life,

Young and old,

Like yon oak,
Bright in spring,

Living gold;

Summer-rich
Then; and then

Autumn-changed,
Soberer-hued
Gold again.

All his leaves

Fallen at length,

Look, he stands,
Trunk and bough,

Naked strength.

  1. I love the foggy shot...I can almost feel the mist on my skin.

  2. My husband cannot pass a large tree without pointing out its beauty. Nice misty photo. Makes me want to walk out there.
