They say that cats don't really show much affection, that they're only in it for themselves. While it's true that felines are self-centered creatures I don't believe they lack tenderness for their people. Sometimes it's not obvious, but if you're observant you'll see how much your cat cares. They're very intelligent animals. Finished with geometry at an early age, lately Tuck and Stitch have been practicing their writing skills to show me their appreciation:
I
L
O
V
E
U.
So keep an eye on your household pets. They may be trying to tell you something.
A.D.O.R.A.B.L.E!
ReplyDeleteT.H.E.Y. A.R.E. !:-)
Deletevery smart kitties, learning to spell in their sleep.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could spell in my sleep. I am a very bad speller. And sleeper.
DeleteI am always amazed at how loving and lovable cats are. Yours look delightful.
ReplyDeleteI know that your cats are lovable. Shoot, I love them but have never laid eyes on them. :-)
DeleteOh my.. that is just too cute and too clever. Love it.
ReplyDeleteHilary, would Benny accept a cat?
DeleteHe would and he does. Two of them in fact. They don't accept him quite as well, mind you. But they're all working on it. ;)
DeleteBenny is Frank's dog and I have two 14 year old guys. One who is very timid and was very fearful of Benny at first (5 years ago) but has come to tolerate him. The other one got the upper paw early on and often engages him in play. Benny is pretty good with other animals.. unless they're squirrels. ;)
From his squirrel escapades, and because he's a JRT, I figured he has a high prey drive & so might be hard to co-habitate with kitties. What a great dog he is! Good boy Benny!
DeleteAwww! So cute, and so very intelligent!
ReplyDelete:)
My kitty loves me, too. And not only because I feed her. :)
:-) Introduce me to your kitty. Please.
DeleteKerry, your mind is amazing! LOVE THIS! :)
ReplyDeleteGail, it is so much easier taking photos of sleeping cats than it is taking shots of what you do. I am pitiful!
DeleteNow this is pure inspiration - you've an artist's eye even when it comes to sleeping cats! Made me smile out loud :)
ReplyDeletePauline, it is possible that I simply have too much time on my hands. :-) I am now going to practice smiling out loud...SOL?
DeleteWell they definitely will Tuck into the pillow and Tear & you will will have a Stitch job !
ReplyDeletehaha! if that happens I'll let it go to the dogs! It's their bed:)
DeleteCats are very cool critters. And their CLAWS fit the season well.
ReplyDeleteoooooh. I like the way you think AV! I must PAWS to ponder a clever answer to that one!
DeleteU R so clever:) And so are you cats.
ReplyDelete:-) Annie, I hope you're feeling better these days.
DeleteVery creative. I knew they did sign language! That first photo, though, is really special.
ReplyDeleteStitch is quite photogenic & I liked that photo too, although I couldn't figure out how to use it coherently. Looks like a Christmas card or something.
DeleteHow sweet! And what a pair of lovely kitties.
ReplyDeleteStephanie, they were born here, so they are quite free of angst and issues. Sometimes it seems like that comes through in pics of them. :-)
DeleteAw, this was incredible! :)
ReplyDeleteHello FB, you animal lover you. I bet your furry friends tell you allll the time how much they appreciate you.
