Friday Shoot-Out: Triangle, circle, square

Topics for the Friday Shoot-Out are developed as a collaborative effort by participants. This week is the first of a "scavenger hunt" with the following guide lines:

* straight out of the camera, no editing
* one photo per word
* three words for each hunt
* add a fourth photo if you can find all three hunt words in one (or just post this one photo)
* hunt area includes your town, surrounding areas, surrounding countryside

Triangles in the sky on one of our rare clear days this spring in Oregon.

Two squares, one on top of the other, in a blockhouse fort located in Dayton, Oregon. This is one of the first forts in the state, and is based on early English military architecture. Such structures can be found wherever the British came to rest: from New Zealand and the Americas to Southern Africa. You can read more about it here.

  7. Very clever to see these;

    I find blogging has opened my eyes, and given me ideas, far more that I ever had before. I'd have walked straight past these pictures, possibly admiring the blockhouse but not thinking of seeing them as geometric shapes.

    As I said, very clever and well observed.

  13. Have you ever when you were in school answered a question out of point? That was how I felt when I went to FSO, and looked at the first line, and saw church. I did it, and then when I went to Linky, I saw you and everyone doing something else. By then, I already told my Australian friends to go on the post.

    This is the second time I had done this. Lousy teacher
    I am. LOL
